MotoGP Round 6 came from the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The weekend was unseasonally cold throughout, leading to many crashes across the weekend. In Moto3, Max Quilles continued to dominate, whilst in Moto2 Manuel Gonzales took the win to further strengthen his early hold on the title fight. In MotoGP we had an exciting Saturday Sprint race, followed by a main Grand Prix with 3 starts following red flags for serious crashes involving Alex Marquez and Johann Zarco. Miraculously, neither rider was mortally injured. Equally miraculously were the other riders caught up in the chaos, one of whom would go on to win the race following the 3rd start. It was a race that highlighted the inherent danger of motorcycle racing, and the need to pause for deep contemplation when considering street races.
