After waiting for MotoGP racing for two weeks, we get to wait some more. A late-summer storm, combined with some sub-standard track modifications, meant that there was not racing at Silverstone. There was, however, plenty of news and BSB to talk about so we have a full show for you this week. Enjoy!

There was no MotoGP or World Superbike racing this weekend, so we caught up with our man on the inside, Simon Crafar, to run down through the main stories of the MotoGP season so far. In true MotoPod fashion, it's two mates talking bikes, but this time one of them knows what he's talking about! ;-)

Skyler and Jim cover events from the Red Bull Ring in Austria, where Jorge Lorenzo fought to victory in Round 11 of the MotoGP Championship. Skyler recaps the recent MotoAmerica round from Sonoma before we queue up a host of Skyler's interviews with a number of the MotoAmerica riders.

We hope you have a long commute or flight, because this show is a big one. First Skyler goes solo to bring you all the details on last weekend's Czech GP. It was some of the closest racing we've ever seen so be sure to watch it if you havent. Andrew and Dave take the second half of the show and give us all the latest BSB news and race results. After a short summer break, Skyler and Derek are back tanned and refreshed to do a MotoAmerica deep dive after the Championship of Utah from the Utah Motorsports Campus. They review the event, the current state of motorcycle road racing in the US and review the jewel in the EWC crown, the Suzuka 8 hours of 2018.

Europe's heatwave kept the Sachsenring dry and the racing was hot. There was interesting action in all three classes and Skyler and Jim are here to tell you all about it. There are some interesting topics at the end, so be sure to write in to motopod@motopodcast.com with your thoughts.

Skyler and Derek connect and catch up with the World Superbike racing from Misano in Italy. Jonny Rea does the double but he had to work in Race Two fighting with the Yamahas and Ducatis to take the win

After a humdinger of a weekend at Assen Jim McDowell and Skyler Vickroy do their best to analyse an epic MotoGP battle as well as the racing from Moto2 and Moto3.

Rea had no trouble doing the double at Leguna Seca, while Skyes may have doubled his trouble at KRT. Speaking of double, Haslam takes the trouble to do the double at Snetterton.
