Episode 45: Qatar WSBK From Both Sides and a Conversation with Dreb

* Qatar Superbike Eyewitness Report
* Chat with Liam About Working in Qatar
* Conversation with Dreb About AMA

A great lineup of guests on the show again this week! It is another long one, but chock full of entertaining good stuff. First off, we have an eyewitness account of what it's like to attend a race at Losail in Qatar, written by MotoGPod listener Jody Vogel. After that, we talk with Liam Shubert in Spain about his weekend, which was also spent in Qatar. So, we've got views of the World Superbike opener from both the grandstands and the pit garage! We wrap up the show today with a phone call to Speed TV's very own Brian Drebber about AMA and the general state of racing in 2006.

The good stuff just keeps on coming for MotoGPod lately, so just like the last few shows, we have a lot of cool stuff. We've also got an interview with Dominic Dobson, President and CEO of Motion Research Corporation, manufacturers of the SportVue, a really cool device designed for riders that gives you a helmet mounted display for speed, rpm, and gear. Also, World Superbike starts the season with Round 1 in Qatar and we have a qualifying report.

I have to admit, I was pretty well floored and more than a little proud when I found out Chuck listened to MotoGPod, and he was nice enough to spend some time on the phone with me talking about the state of the team and some of their hopes for the season and what's going on with the motorcycle and all kinds of good stuff.

Episode 40: Sepang Test #2 and Mert Lawwill Interview

* This Week's News
* Sepang Tests
* Mert Lawwill Interview

Got some good stuff today, first with some general MotoGP news, mostly silly season continued, then a report about the testing that took place at Sepang in Malaysia this past week, and then our tech segment today kind of diverges a little from the tech of MotoGP and we're going to talk with AMA Grand National Champion Mert Lawwill a little bit about an interesting device that he manufactures that allows riders to use a prosthetic arm for riding. Anyone who has ever seen the movie On Any Sunday will remember Mert Lawwill, and Mert was nice enough to do a phone interview.
